Sarah Flaten
I have worked at The Village since 2006 after completion of my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at St. Cloud State University. I enjoy working with very young children from birth to 6 years, school-aged children, adults, couples, and families. Some of the evidence-based models of treatment I use include Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I provide mental health consultation to childcare providers in the Alexandria area and am an Infant Mental Health Specialist. I absolutely love what I do and seeing clients and families make changes to improve their lives.
"Sarah is very friendly and open to my problems."
